JAVA Full Stack - Specialist - Software Engineering

As a Senior Specialist - Software Engineering at Acentra Health, you will play a crucial role in defining, designing, and leading the technology strategy. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing and developing applications using Angular for UI and Java for microservices on AWS/Azure. - Implementing modern source control and CI/CD frameworks for efficient development processes. - Writing manual and automated unit test cases to ensure application stability and performance. - Upholding high standards of code quality and maintainability through best practices like refactoring and code reviews. - Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and incorporate feedback. - Working closely with design teams, product managers, and other developers to introduce new features and services. - Providing strategic guidance on technology and industry best practices. - Establishing, overseeing, and enforcing development standards. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 7-10 years of experience as a Java Full Stack Developer. - Minimum of 7 to 10 years of relevant work experience in Java full stack development. - Minimum 5+ years of experience with Angular, Bootstrap, JavaScript, Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, JPA, and Spring JDBC/PL/SQL. Technical Skills: - Extensive expertise in Angular for front-end development. - Proficiency in server-side programming languages like Python, Java, and Node.js. - Knowledge of database technologies such as Oracle and PostgreSQL. - Strong understanding of RESTful API design and implementation. - Familiarity with source code management tools, particularly Git. - Sound knowledge of Microservice architectures using Java, Spring, and JPA. - Experience in UI development using Angular, React.js, Bootstrap, or Vue.js. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Strong analytical skills and ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. - Experience collaborating with virtual and global teams. Preferred Skills: - Previous exposure to design systems. - Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, Jira, and Confluence. - Experience with cloud services like AWS and Azure, and serverless architecture. - Proficiency in CI/CD tools for automated testing and deployment. - Exposure to OpenAI and ChatGPT technologies.
