Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the end-to-end architecture and design of microservices-based solutions from a legacy monolithic Java application.
Define and enforce best practices for service decomposition, API design, data management, and cloud-native architecture.
Collaborate closely with development teams, business stakeholders, and DevOps to ensure alignment between business goals and technical solutions.
Guide the team in containerization (Docker), orchestration, and CI/CD pipelines.
Perform architectural reviews, provide mentorship, and lead decision-making for technology choices.
Ensure security, scalability, reliability, and maintainability of the proposed solutions.

Required Technical Skills:

7-9 years of experience in Java ecosystem with strong background in system design and architecture
Deep knowledge of Spring Boot, RESTful services, and microservices patterns (CQRS, Saga, Event-Driven Architecture)
Proficient in Docker and container-based deployment; knowledge of Kubernetes is a plus
Strong understanding of integration patterns, API gateways, authentication (OAuth2/JWT), and observability (logs, metrics, tracing)
Experience in migration strategy and phased decomposition of legacy systems
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern DevOps practices
Prior experience in leading large-scale migration/modernization projects.
