Java Full stack Developer

Responsibilities
Build, enhance, and support on-prem Java APIs serving web and mobile front-end applications Migrate existing APIs from on-prem environments to containerized workloads on AWS Design and develop cloud-native and serverless API endpoints on AWS using Python Implement and support AWS cloud services with a strong focus on architecture, configuration, monitoring, and observability (CloudWatch, logging, metrics) Ensure high-quality code delivery with a quality-first mindset, embedding testing into the development lifecycle Develop and execute unit tests, isolation tests, and feature-level automation tests Utilize automation and API testing tools such as Postman Support applications with logging and troubleshooting in Unix/Linux environments Work with CI/CD pipelines and follow best practices to improve deployment speed and reliability Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product, QA, DevOps, and UI teams Act as an owner by understanding business requirements and the why behind solutions to drive efficiency and continuous improvement

Must-Have Skills
7+ years of experience in full stack or backend application development Strong proficiency in Java and Spring-based APIs Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services Experience building serverless applications using Python Front-end development experience with Angular Strong understanding of cloud architecture and microservices Experience with API automation testing tools (Postman or similar) Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments and logging tools Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams Good-to-Have Skills Docker, Kubernetes Infrastructure as Code Advanced monitoring and observability tools Security best practices in cloud applications
