Description
Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Java (Spring Boot, Hibernate, etc.) Build responsive and dynamic user interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Angular or React Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field 8+ years of experience in Java development (Spring Boot, JPA, etc.) Proficiency in frontend technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue.js Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture Familiarity with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) Strong problem-solving and communication skills Preferred Qualifications: Experience with DevOps tools (Docker, Jenkins, Kubernetes) Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies Experience with unit testing and test-driven development (TDD) About Virtusa Teamwork, quality of life, professional and personal development: values that Virtusa is proud to embody.
