Job Description

Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns. Over 4+ years of experience in enterprise Web application development using Java/J2EE technologies. Should have strong knowledge and hands-on experience in JAVA (Version 1. 8 or above) / J2EE / Spring boot / restful Web Services Expertise in Spring Batch, Spring IOC, Spring Annotation, Spring Security Expertise in mocking, Junit , and perf testing of solutions. Should possess basic Unix/Linux knowledge to be able to write and understand basic shell scripts and basic Unix commands Knowledge of Oracle (PL/SQL) or NoSQL database. Strong design skills on Java/J2EE based solutions with Oracle backend Ability to write reliable, manageable, and high-performance code Agile/Scrum methodology experience is required. Proficient in code versioning tools, such as Git, BitBucket, and Jira Strong systems analysis, design and architecture fundamentals, Unit Testing, and other SDLC activities Experience in RDMS and No SQL databases Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills. Strong communication and aptitude. Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application. Basic Unix OS and scripting knowledge. Exposure to Sonarqube and other code analysis tools Good to have: Banking Financial markets background is preferable but is not a must. Experience in building self-service platform agnostic data access API s Service-oriented architecture and data standards like JSON. Familiarity with build tools such as Maven and continuous integration. Candidates with working knowledge of Docker / Kubernetes / OpenShift / Mesos is a plus.
