As a Java Developer at GlobalLogic, you will have the opportunity to work on a brand new program aimed at developing an application gateway for a major US Telecom Operator. This project involves integrating legacy solutions with a cutting-edge platform, utilizing modern technologies under the AGILE (SAFe) development model. You will be part of a team of over 40 specialists, engaging in the initiation, development, testing, integration, and acceptance stages of the application gateway. The ideal candidate for this position must thrive in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, agile development environment and be adaptable to changing business priorities. Strong interpersonal communication skills are essential for effective collaboration within the team. Additionally, the role requires the ability to provide technical leadership and mentorship to less experienced staff members. Key qualifications for this role include a minimum of 4 years of commercial experience in software development with Java and microservices. Knowledge of Cloud Computing, Virtualization technologies, and industry standards in the Telecom market is advantageous. Experience with microservices architecture and various development tools such as Java 17, Spring Boot 2, RESTful, SOAP, JMS, JPA/Hibernate, MyBatis, SQL, Jboss 7.x, Docker, Kubernetes, Maven, Jenkins, Git, Gerrit, Bash, PostgreSQL, JUnit, OpenStack, and RESTEasy is preferred. As a Java Developer, your responsibilities will include reviewing new features" requirements, implementing new solution features, self-testing developed features, covering code with unit tests, writing automation test cases, and providing demo sessions for developed functionality.
