Java Developers

As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for various tasks related to software development and application support. You will collaborate with users to gather and analyze business requirements, formalize system specifications, and ensure that projects meet business and standards requirements. Your responsibilities will include providing estimations on resources, budget, and risks involved in application development, reviewing the work quality of team members when functioning as a team lead, and conducting system design, code development, and prototypes for applications. You will also be involved in unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing to ensure that business requirements and software development standards are met. Additionally, you will be responsible for application support and maintenance, working with the system administration team to plan upgrades, optimize application architecture and performance, and propose technical solutions to resolve issues and improve software design and coding standards. You will also participate in post-implementation reviews and provide support in various IT projects to enhance team productivity. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. You should have a minimum of 3 years of working experience in software development and object-oriented programming in Java, the spring framework, and spring boot. Experience with implementing APIs and Microservices, integrating with external systems, and familiarity with front-end frameworks such as Angular or React is required. Experience in cloud-based, CD/CI or DevOps development environments, Structured Query Language (SQL), report design tools, data structures, algorithms, and multi-threading/parallel processing is also necessary. Proficiency in open-source development environments including Hudson, Jenkins, JUnit, and Subversion, as well as strong knowledge and experience in Agile development methodology are preferred. Furthermore, you should have a good understanding of business processes and requirements and the ability to work with vendors to deliver applications that meet business needs.
