Job Description

Role Overview: As a backend service and API developer at frog, you will be responsible for designing and developing reliable, efficient, and scalable backend services and APIs using Java and the Spring ecosystem. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to build microservices-based systems. This role offers you the opportunity to work on a platform that scales to 10 billion minute meetings per month. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop backend services and APIs using Java and Spring ecosystem - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build microservices-based systems - Work on a platform that scales to 10 billion minute meetings per month - Utilize technologies such as Linux basics, Java, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Microservices, Grafana, SIP Protocol, any Database, RESTful API's, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, JUnit, Mockito, Postman Qualifications Required: - 4+ years of hands-on experience in developing software applications, including Microservices using Java, JVM, and related technologies - Practical knowledge of microservices architecture, design patterns, and best practices - Strong foundation in object-oriented programming and software design principles - Proficiency in Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and related technologies like Spring Data and Spring Batch - Experience in developing and maintaining RESTful APIs, with hands-on experience in Grafana and SIP Protocol - Familiarity with relational databases (SQL) and NoSQL databases is a plus - Experience with unit and integration testing using frameworks like JUnit and Mockito - Proficient in version control systems, especially Git and platforms like GitHub Desired Skills: - Strong experience in performance tuning - Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for containerized application development and orchestration - Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform - Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integrating code into automated build/test/deploy systems - Familiarity with API documentation tools such as Swagger/OpenAPI - Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a proactive mindset - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of troubleshooting complex systems in a fast-paced environment Additional Company Details: frog is part of Capgemini Invent, partnering with customer-centric enterprises to drive sustainable growth by building and orchestrating experiences at scale using data and technology.
