Job Description

JAVA DeveloperThe Cloud Engineer is responsible for expanding, developing, implementing, and operationalizing our cloud implementation. We are looking for an experienced engineer with extensive knowledge in Java micro services and experience across a broad set of infrastructure and application technologies. The ideal candidate will have a vision for the future of these technologies and the ability to develop and execute the plan to get there.Responsibilities:Migrating from local server environments to GCP based Cloud ArchitectureGCP Cloud application intake automation.Working with compliance teams to ensure the design meets requirements.Monitoring and performance tuning Cloud environment.Sharing knowledge and awareness of alternative Cloud environments and servicesIdentifying and proposing new work.Documenting and recommending best practices and articulating process improvementsDeveloping automation and/or applicationsAutomation of data transfer using file transfer technologies such as SFTP, etc. Day to day process, documentation, KPIs, and reporting.Basic QualificationsBachelors degreeMinimum of 3 yrs in a combination of Infrastructure, applications security knowledge with cloud experiencePreferred Qualifications:Java micro servicesMust own ability to learn fast, adapt to new technology and keep current with industryEmbrace and focus on emerging technology and evangelize to the rest of the team Experience with Google CloudExperience in Cloud run and similar technologies a strong plusExperience with Springboot programming languageExperience supporting complex production application environmentsMandatory SkillsOpenshiftKafkaKubernetis
