Job Description

Position: Java Developer (Servlet, Hibernate, JSP, MySQL) (TE23FT RM 3354)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Java Developer with 2-3 years of experience in Java Servlet, Hibernate, JSP, and MySQL to design and develop robust web applications. The ideal candidate should have strong backend development skills, including database design, query optimization, and server-side logic implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain Java-based web applications using Servlets, JSP, and Hibernate. Design, optimize, and manage MySQL databases (schema design, indexing, stored procedures, query tuning). Implement MVC architecture for scalable web applications. Use Hibernate ORM for efficient database interactions (mapping, HQL, caching, transactions). Build dynamic web pages using JSP, JSTL, and EL (Expression Language). Write and optimize SQL queries for performance and scalability. Ensure application security by implementing authentication, session management, and input validation. Debug and troubleshoot performance issues in Java web applications and MySQL databases. Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Technical Skills Required:

Core Java & Java Servlets (2-3 years) Hibernate ORM (Entity mapping, HQL, caching, transactions) JSP (JavaServer Pages), JSTL, and Expression Language (EL) MySQL (Database design, indexing, query optimization, stored procedures) JDBC & Database Connectivity MVC Architecture Apache Tomcat / Jetty Server HTML, CSS, JavaScript (Basic knowledge) Git, Maven/Gradle

Good to Have:

Basic knowledge of Spring Framework (Spring MVC, Spring Boot) Familiarity with RESTful APIs Experience with AJAX & jQuery

Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. 2-3 years of hands-on experience in Java web development with MySQL. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
