Job Overview:

Assists with the design/development of software solutions requiring general domain knowledge and limited business expertise. Troubleshoots code issues and continuously evolves IQVIA's platforms to meet user requirements/needs. Develops a basic understanding of industry and IQVIA-specific quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement Java-based applications using Spring and Spring Boot frameworks.
• Build and maintain scalable microservices architecture.
• Develop and deploy AWS-based solutions using services such as Lambda, Step Functions, CloudWatch, Secrets Manager, RDS, S3, and DynamoDB.
• Write efficient SQL queries and work with relational databases.
• Contribute to UI application development and integration.
• Perform intermediate-level system analysis, design, and documentation.
• Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and testing activities throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Elevate code to development, test, and production environments as per schedule.
• Provide production support and troubleshoot issues as needed.
• Submit and manage change control requests and related documentation.
• Collaborate in system requirements analysis, prototyping, and use case creation.
• Assist team members with technical deliverables and documentation.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with RESTful API development and Microservices architecture.
• Solid understanding of AWS services: Lambda, Step Functions, CloudWatch, Secrets Manager, RDS, S3, DynamoDB.
• Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Familiarity with web UI technologies and integration.
• Experience with unit testing and frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito.
• Exposure to test automation, TDD, and contract testing.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools: Jenkins, Bamboo, Maven, Bitbucket, Git, Jira.
• Understanding of API management platforms, design standards, and patterns.
• Strong grasp of software design principles and object-oriented programming.
