Join us as a Java Developer! BMC is looking for a talented Java Developer to join our family working on complex and distributed software, developing, and debugging software products, implementing features, and assisting the firm in assuring product quality. Here is how, through this exciting role, YOU will contribute to BMC's and your own success: Contribute to be a member of the Development team responsible for developing and debugging of software products. Work on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of several factors. Work across product lines with interaction of other BMC products. Independently design and implement features that address customer needs with a sense of ownership within given timelines. To ensure you re set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience: You have 6+ years of experience with application development using Java, Rest Services, Core Java, and multi-threading. You have experience in a Web based environment utilizing HTML, XML, and JavaScript, Java 8, Java Server Pages, Servlets and Angular. You have knowledge and experience with various DBMS (SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, Apache Derby, Mongo Db) You have experience with Windows, Linux, and Unix network and system level programming You have working experience of using GitHub You have experience with integrating 3rd party APIs into existing applications You have the ability to write code for GUI development using Java, Angular, JQuery You have problem solving skill using data structures and algorithms You have strong diagnostics, debugging, and troubleshooting skills Whilst these are nice to have, our team can help you develop in the following skills: CI/CD (Jenkins) environment with popular DevOps tools Experience with Agile methodology, use of Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence)
