Java Backend Developer

As a Java Backend Developer, you will be responsible for developing and enhancing backend services, implementing REST APIs, and data access layers. You will work closely with senior engineers to adopt best practices in Cloud deployments and contribute to real-time messaging and integration modules. Additionally, you will leverage AI development assistants for code generation, documentation, and test automation. Your role will also involve participating in implementing API analytics, monitoring, and reporting dashboards, as well as improving the performance and resilience of backend modules. Your technical expertise will include proficiency in languages and frameworks such as Java, Spring Boot, REST, and JPA/Hibernate. You should have experience working with Cloud services like AWS/GCP, messaging tools like Kafka and SQS/SNS, and Dev Tools like Git, Docker, Jenkins, and Maven/Gradle. Familiarity with AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Codex, Claude, as well as analytics and reporting tools like CloudWatch, QuickSight, or Grafana will be beneficial. You should also have experience with unit/integration testing and understand TDD concepts. Bonus experience includes exposure to event-driven design or reactive programming, familiarity with BI tools, API analytics, or report dashboards, and an interest in AI-assisted engineering and prompt-driven development. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience with microservices and cloud in a production environment. You will receive mentorship from senior architects and have access to AI productivity tooling. Additionally, you will be exposed to real-world analytics, reporting, and data insights pipelines.
