As a Software Engineer, you will design and implement back-end components for
our platforms. You will work with technologies including Java, Spring Boot and Kafka to develophigh-performance, scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities:• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.• Ensure the performance, security, and scalability of applications.• Apply 12-factor application principles to build robust, scalable solutions.• Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and continuous improvement processes.• Contribute to the estimation of new features.• Implement automation, monitoring, logging, and alerting for continuous deployment.
Required Qualifications:• Considerable experience with back-end development with Java and Spring Boot.• Experience with event streaming technologies, particularly Kafka.• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and cloud-native development.• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.• Strong communication and teamworking.Preferred Qualifications:• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices.• Experience with GitHub.• Understanding and application of 12-factor app principles.• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices.• Knowledge of security best practices in software development.• Experience using PostgresSQL.
