Job Summary:

Java Backend Architect

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and design robust backend systems using Java and Spring Boot.
• Lead the migration and development of cloud-native applications on AWS.
• Define and enforce coding standards, architecture principles, and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, Frontend, QA, and Product.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to improve development efficiency.
• Ensure security and compliance standards are met in all backend implementations.
• Mentor and guide junior developers and engineers.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in backend development with Java.
• 3+ years of experience in architecting solutions on AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, API Gateway, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in database design and management (SQL and NoSQL).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, etc.).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
