Java Application Developer

Greetings from CBTS! With over 4 years of experience, we are looking for Java Developers to join our remediation team based in Chennai (DLF IT Park, Porur) in a Hybrid work mode. As part of the team, you will be responsible for addressing security issues in legacy web applications through fixing vulnerabilities and upgrading outdated libraries. Your role will involve updating web application codebases using JSP and traditional Java frameworks, focusing on resolving vulnerabilities like Cross-Site Scripting (XSS). You will also be upgrading dependencies such as commons-file upload and spring framework to address known vulnerabilities. Collaborating effectively using Git is essential, following established workflows and participating in peer-reviewed pull requests. To be successful in this role, you should have at least 5 years of experience in Java web application development with strong expertise in JSP, Servlets, and traditional Java frameworks. Experience in upgrading and managing Java dependencies using Maven or Gradle, familiarity with Eclipse IDE, and proficiency in Git are required. Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a distributed team are also important.
