As the incumbent in this position, your primary responsibility will be to provide scientific and medical/technical support within the emerging markets sub region of EMEIA, focusing on Vitrolife Group's Business Areas Consumables, Technology, and Genetic Services. Your key tasks will include: - Conducting embryo biopsy and tubing procedures, offering ongoing training, and delivering clinical support to Igenomix/Vitrolife customers. - Providing internal and external education, training, and support on media, disposable devices, and technologies to ensure customers achieve optimal results. - Assisting commercial teams during customer visits and key projects in the emerging markets sub region. - Building and managing a network of Key Opinion Leaders in India, Sri Lanka, and Nepal. - Performing embryo pre-biopsy, biopsy, and post-biopsy services, as well as training clinics across India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, and the wider emerging markets sub region. - Managing relationships with IVF clinics to coordinate and conduct training sessions for embryologists in embryo biopsy and biopsied cells tubing-loading validation. - Representing the company at local and international congresses to provide clinical and educational support to the commercial team. - Collaborating with the Logistic Department to facilitate the shipping of sampling kits and collection of biopsied samples. - Engaging with the Research and Development (R&D) team on specific projects as needed. - Maintaining ongoing customer relationships with the commercial team. The ideal candidate for this role should possess the following qualifications and skills: - A Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree or equivalent. - A PhD or MSc in a relevant field is desirable but not mandatory. - A minimum of 5 years of experience as a senior embryologist in the IVF industry, with preference given to those with experience at the Lab Manager or Deputy Lab Manager level. - Demonstrated proficiency and validation in embryo biopsy. - Strong communication skills and proficient computer skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams. - Willingness to travel, with an expected travel time of up to 50% (potentially reaching 70% during peak periods).
