You will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining complex integrations between Guidewire (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter) and external systems (legacy applications, third-party services, etc.) by utilizing APIs, web services, and message queues. Your role will involve analyzing business requirements and translating them into technical solutions using Guidewire's integration capabilities such as ITypes, Business Services, and Datamaps. It is essential to write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code that adheres to best practices and Guidewire development standards. You will be required to conduct unit testing and participate in integration testing with QA and other teams. Troubleshooting and resolving integration issues to ensure seamless data flow between systems will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. Staying updated on the latest Guidewire integration features and functionalities is crucial. Additionally, you will estimate integration development effort accurately and provide timelines, document technical design and implementation decisions, and contribute to code deployments and ongoing system maintenance. Your role will involve contributing to the development and maintenance of integration automation tools and scripts, staying informed about industry trends and best practices in application integration, and collaborating effectively with business analysts, solution architects, and other developers to design optimal integration solutions. Participating in code reviews, providing technical guidance to junior developers, and effectively communicating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences are essential. Proactively identifying and mitigating integration risks will be a part of your responsibilities. The job location for this position includes Chennai, Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Noida, and Coimbatore.
