Job Description: Hardware Design Engineer Experience : 5 ~ 6 yrs Designation : Hardware Design Engineer Related Industry : Hardware Development / Automobile Electronics / Consumer Electronics In-house Environmental and Prototype testing and validation of new products like Intelligent transportation system (ITS/OBITS), Passenger information system (PIS), Roof Lamp, Audio Amplifier, Vehicle Tracking System (VTS/VTD), variable message display (VMD), DC-DC converters and LED signages. Development of Hardware circuit diagrams and PCB layout (Upto 8 Layers). Providing inputs for Mechanical Design and Wiring Harness. Prepare BOM and ECN. Component selection and testing. Knowledge of IS/ISO/IEC/BIS/AIS standards would be an added advantage. Operating knowledge of CRO, Function Generator and Spectrum Analyzer. Sample preparation for Lab Testing and design modification to overcome the reported failures. Communicate with customer to gather requirement of electronics testing & validation. Generate Validation Reports & certificates according to OEMs requirements and share it thru proper channel. Documentation: In house test reports according to the test results, assembly procedure, repairing procedure, Test procedure for production. Responsible for completion of Design verification and validation plan (DVVP) received from OEMs and customers. Making circuit changes in existing designs as per the requirement from customers. Support production team for trial run as well as for mass production. Communicate with Customer/Service Team to resolve field related issues. Field Failure Analysis and prepare countermeasures accordingly.
