As an experienced ServiceNow Engineer with 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITOM, Discovery, and Service Mapping implementations, you will play a crucial role in supporting the platform as an administrator. Your responsibilities will include providing top-notch service to ServiceNow users and stakeholders by promptly addressing their inquiries and resolving issues in an efficient and courteous manner. Your expertise will be utilized in troubleshooting and resolving ServiceNow incidents, understanding the configuration and functionality of ServiceNow, monitoring system performance, managing user administration tasks such as Groups, Roles, and access issues, administering code releases, and performing system upgrades and maintenance activities. Additionally, you will be involved in installing and updating plugins, diagnosing Discovery issues, managing Service Mapping operations, and ensuring compliance with licensing requirements. Your role will also encompass creating reports and dashboards to track trends and report on issues, collaborating with Developers to identify code defects, supporting integrations with other systems, fixing vulnerabilities as identified by the Information Security Department, performing disaster recovery testing, and documenting technical procedures and incident remediation processes. It is essential for you to stay updated with the latest ServiceNow best practices and continuously enhance your skills as needed. As part of an Agile/Kanban team, you will be responsible for supporting the ServiceNow infrastructure, tools, and integrations, as well as serving as a level 3 escalation point for the Service Desk. This dynamic role will require active participation in agile-driven activities, adherence to best practice standards, and effective communication and collaboration with team members. You will be accountable for ensuring a positive customer experience, managing risks effectively, and contributing to the continuous improvement of team performance. In addition to managing incident work queues and implementing ServiceNow ITOM solutions, you should possess a deep understanding of ITOM processes, ServiceNow architecture, and various technical skills related to ServiceNow platform development and configuration. Your knowledge and expertise in ServiceNow ITOM offerings, API integrations, Flow Designer, Catalog Item creation, Custom Applications, Platform Health and Security, and other technical aspects will be crucial in leading customers through successful implementations and deployments. To excel in this role, you must hold a Certified Systems Administrator (CSA) certification, have at least 5 years of experience on the ServiceNow platform, and ideally possess a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent field. Additional certifications such as ITIL, ServiceNow CIS, and Service Mapping certifications would be advantageous.
