IT/Networking system administrator

Configure and manage LAN, WAN, routers, switches, and firewalls (Sophos/others)

• Monitor and troubleshoot network connectivity issues
• Install, upgrade, and maintain operating systems (Windows/Linux)
• Manage user accounts, email systems (Google Workspace/O365), and data backups
• Provide desktop support to employees (hardware/software troubleshooting)
• Handle network security, antivirus, firewall, and VPN configurations
• Perform routine audits of systems and software
• Documentation of IT processes, inventory, and system configurations

Key Skills Required:

• Good knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs)
• Experience with firewalls (e.g., Sophos, FortiGate, or similar)
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP
• Familiarity with system backup and restore tools
• Problem-solving and communication skills
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (basic) is a plus

Qualifications:

• Diploma / B.Tech in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• Certifications like CCNA, MCSA, or CompTIA are preferred
• 1–3 years of experience in a similar role (Freshers with strong knowledge may also apply)
