In this role at ABB, you will support the Production Technician in defining processes and learn to accomplish tasks through on-the-job training. Your main responsibilities will include optimizing the cost, quality, and on-time delivery of products. Specifically, you will be accountable for: - Supporting the implementation, delivery, and continuous improvement of products and services within the defined area as directed. - Monitoring the production process and performing basic quality and testing checks under the supervision of a mentor. - Ensuring effective usage of consumables, spare parts for machinery and equipment, and all sorts of preventive and corrective maintenance processes. - Providing cycle time data for the production process to internal teams. Qualifications for this role include: - Must possess a valid ITI Certificate from a recognized institute. - Trades accepted: Electrician, Fitter, Machinist, Mechanic, etc. - Basic knowledge of tools and machinery related to the trade. - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (for engineering trades). - Understanding of safety protocols and quality standards.
