About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated ITI Fitter to join our technical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fitting, assembling, and maintaining mechanical components and machinery in a manufacturing or plant setup. This role demands attention to detail, hands-on experience with industrial tools, and the ability to read technical drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform fitting and mechanical assembly tasks based on engineering drawings and instructions.
• Carry out routine preventive and corrective maintenance of machines and mechanical equipment.
• Ensure safety of the premises, including regular inspections of tools, machines, and plant infrastructure.
• Monitor and support fire safety measures and assist in maintaining fire extinguishers and safety equipment.
• Take care of infrastructure-related work such as minor civil repairs, pipeline fittings, and structural maintenance.
• Assist in the installation and upkeep of new machines and equipment.
• Identify and resolve faults or wear in mechanical parts to avoid downtime.
• Maintain proper documentation for all maintenance activities.
• Provide on-the-job training to machine operators regarding basic handling, safety practices, and preventive care of machines.
• Support the team in ensuring compliance with workplace safety and hygiene standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• ITI certification in Fitter trade from a recognized institution.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical fittings, machine tools, and plant equipment.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and manuals.
• Knowledge of plant safety norms, fire safety standards, and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Hands-on experience with hand tools, welding, grinding, and other fabrication work.
• Physically fit and capable of working in industrial environments.
• Responsible, punctual, and safety-conscious.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,179.36 - ₹24,495.70 per month
