You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement scalable, compliant data governance capabilities, translating regulatory needs into actionable product features, process enhancements, and policy revisions. Using stakeholder feedback and industry metrics, you will continuously refine these capabilities to ensure they align with evolving standards and business objectives. Roles & Responsibilities Roadmap Definition & Prioritization Develop and maintain product/process roadmaps for various data governance themes (e.g., data classification, metadata management, data quality, MDM, data retention). Balance multiple stakeholder needs and regulatory requirements, ensuring critical features are delivered on time. Collaboration & Cross-Functional Alignment Work closely with technical teams, legal/compliance teams, and business stakeholders to implement scalable, compliant data governance solutions. Serve as the primary point of contact for all data governance features, clarifying priorities and resolving cross-functional dependencies. Regulatory Translation & Compliance Monitor new and existing regulations, translating them into actionable requirements and product features. Ensure data governance processes and tools remain compliant with industry and regional standards. Continuous Improvement & Refinement Collect stakeholder feedback, analyze performance metrics, and stay informed on industry best practices to drive iterative enhancements. Adjust product roadmaps and governance strategies to address emerging data challenges, technology advancements, and business priorities. Communication & Stakeholder Management Provide clear, consistent updates to leadership, development teams, and business stakeholders on product progress, challenges, and upcoming milestones. Negotiate trade-offs and adapt priorities based on resource constraints, shifting regulatory requirements, and time-sensitive business needs. Professional & Technical Skills Data Governance Expertise In-depth knowledge of data governance frameworks, practices, and tooling. Familiarity with certifications such as DAMA, DCAM, or equivalent is advantageous. Product Management Proficiency Experience driving product lifecycles in data governance, data quality, or metadata management domains. Skilled at defining product vision, creating user stories, and prioritizing backlogs. Analytical & Strategic Mindset Capable of balancing a long-term strategic vision with the need for practical, incremental delivery. Adept at interpreting data insights, market trends, and regulatory changes to refine governance strategies. Adaptability & Innovation Commitment to continuous improvement, proactively exploring new technologies or methods to enhance data governance frameworks. Willingness to pivot in response to dynamic business, regulatory, and technical landscapes. Communication & Stakeholder Alignment Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to facilitate discussions between technical teams and business units. Proven ability to influence and align diverse stakeholders around common data governance goals. We require an accomplished business analyst with in-depth experience of completing detailed business process analysis and requirement gathering to enable the delivery of complex software development projects. Within this role, the candidate will be responsible for understanding and verifying business cases for change, completing business process analysis, and defining business requirements, functional requirements and design. This will be executed across multiple projects within the trading division. The candidate will manage relationships and expectations with business stakeholders and sponsors and support development and test teams throughout the entire delivery lifecycle. The candidate will be expected to apply structured analysis and problem solving in areas they maybe not have business domain knowledge and experience. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT, with a focus on web applications, APIs, or integration projects. Proven ability to act as a bridge between business users and remote/technical teams, turning concepts into actionable requirements. Strong understanding of: Agile delivery methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean) Web application workflows and basic UX/UI principles API basics and integration patterns SQL and data modeling for basic analysis or back-end support Experience with low-code/no-code platforms (e.g., Appsmith or Mendix) is a plus. Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and deployment cycles. Comfortable creating lightweight documentation such as wireframes, process diagrams, and data flows. Excellent communication and facilitation skills with cross-functional and remote teams. Ability to manage multiple workstreams and shifting priorities independently. Key Responsibilities Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to rapidly gather and define functional requirements for small-scale IT solutions. Translate business needs into user stories, mock-ups, and acceptance criteria suitable for quick development and iteration.
