Description
Responsibilities Design and Implementation: Architect, design, and deploy Cisco ACI solutions to meet the network infrastructure needs of the organization or clients. Configuration Management: Configure ACI fabric, including APIC (Application Policy Infrastructure Controller) configuration, tenant creation, application network profiles (ANP), endpoint groups (EPG), and contracts. Network Integration: Integrate ACI with existing network infrastructure, including Layer 2/3 devices, virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V), and other network services. Policy Enforcement: Develop and enforce network policies using ACI s policy-driven approach, ensuring security, compliance, and performance. Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor the health and performance of the ACI environment and troubleshoot issues using tools like APIC, SNMP, Syslog, and third-party monitoring solutions. Automation and Scripting: Automate routine tasks using Python, Ansible, or other automation tools compatible with ACI to improve efficiency and reduce human error. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all ACI-related configurations, procedures, and policies. Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams, including security, server, and application teams, to ensure seamless integration and operation of the ACI environment. Upgrades and Patching: Plan and execute upgrades, patches, and maintenance for the ACI infrastructure. Required Qualifications: Experience: 8-10 years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on Cisco ACI. Certification: Cisco CCNP Data Center, CCIE Data Center, or equivalent certifications in Cisco ACI. Technical Skills: Deep understanding of Cisco ACI architecture and components (APIC, Leaf, Spine). Strong knowledge of network protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, VXLAN, MP-BGP). Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V). Familiarity with scripting and automation tools (Python, Ansible). Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment. Qualifications we seek in you! Minimum Qualifications / Skills Bachelor s degree required. Preferred Qualifications/ Skills Strong communicator - English in spoken and written form Advanced Certification: Cisco CCIE Data Center. Cloud Integration: Experience with integrating ACI with public clouds (AWS, Azure). DevOps Practices: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies as they relate to network automation.
