• Install, configure, and maintain servers (Windows, Linux, Unix)

2. User & Access Management

• Create and manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights
• Enforce authentication and authorization policies
• Manage Active Directory, LDAP, or similar identity systems

3. System Monitoring & Performance

• Monitor system health, performance, and availability
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks
• Ensure uptime and system reliability

4. Security Management

• Apply security patches and updates
• Configure firewalls, antivirus, and intrusion detection systems
• Implement backup, disaster recovery, and incident response plans
• Enforce security policies and compliance standards

5. Backup & Disaster Recovery

• Perform regular data backups
• Test backup restorations
• Plan and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity strategies

6. Troubleshooting & Technical Support

• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
• Provide second- or third-level technical support
• Respond to system outages and emergencies

7. Network Administration (often shared)

• Manage LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks
• Configure switches, routers, and DNS/DHCP services
• Monitor network traffic and connectivity issues

8. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain system documentation and configuration records
• Document procedures, changes, and incidents
• Report system status and risks to management

9. Automation & Optimization

• Automate routine tasks using scripts (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
• Optimize system performance and resource usage
• Recommend upgrades and improvements

10. Compliance & Policy Enforcement

• Ensure systems comply with organizational policies and legal regulations
• Assist with audits and risk assessments
• Enforce IT governance standards
• Set up operating systems, applications, and system updates
• Configure hardware such as servers, storage, and network devices

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹8,861.03 - ₹37,204.11 per month
