IT Specialist - Google Workspace Automation and Development

Role Overview: You will utilize your expertise in Google Apps Script, Google AppSheet, and advanced Google Sheets to design, develop, and deploy automated business processes. Your main focus will be on creating tools, reports, and dashboards that streamline workflows and provide actionable insights. Key Responsibilities: - Act as the primary administrator for the Google Workspace environment, managing user accounts, permissions, security settings, and system configurations. - Provide comprehensive remote Level-1 and selected Level-2 user support, troubleshooting and resolving issues related to hardware, software, network connectivity, and user access. - Perform routine maintenance on workstations, servers, and networking equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. - Assist in implementing, monitoring, and maintaining cybersecurity solutions to protect the network and sensitive data. Knowledge of Firewall and VPN is an added advantage. - Maintain accurate and detailed records of all IT support requests, their resolutions, and all automation scripts and processes. - Work closely with the IT department in Africa to implement new technologies, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure technical alignment across all operations. Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in Google Apps Script, Google AppSheet, and advanced Google Sheets. - Experience in Google Workspace administration, managing user accounts, permissions, and security settings. - Strong technical support skills, including troubleshooting hardware, software, network connectivity, and user access issues. - Knowledge of cybersecurity solutions implementation, monitoring, and maintenance. - Ability to collaborate effectively with the IT department and implement new technologies.
