IT Software Developer

As an IT Software Developer at Qualcomm India Private Limited, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing software solutions for web applications and engineering tools. Your responsibilities will span across various layers of the software stack, including the data layer, integration layer, API layer, and the UI layer. Your primary focus will be on developing systems, integrations, APIs, and solutions for engineering purposes. Collaboration with other IT teams to oversee the software development process from development to production release will be a key aspect of your role. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide support for projects by completing tasks for back-end/front-end applications, associated integration, and required test harnesses based on design. - Write reliable, testable, and maintainable code with some supervision. - Complete assigned technical tasks for system integrations and APIs under some supervision. - Execute tasks to meet project deliverables and associated deadlines for the software development process. - Network with more senior IT Software Developers, seek out learning opportunities, and contribute to technical conversations with technical leads/managers. - Write technical documentation for straightforward projects under the direction of a supervisor. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems) OR Bachelor's degree in a non-technical field (e.g., Business, Humanities, Marketing) and 1+ year of IT-relevant experience OR High School Diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of IT-relevant experience. - 2+ years of any combination of academic or work experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, etc. - 1+ year of any combination of academic or work experience with Data Structures, algorithms, and data stores.
