IT Intern

Role & responsibilities

Assist the IT team in maintaining hardware, software, and other systems
Provide technical support to employees regarding computer systems, hardware, or software
Set up and configure new laptops, desktops, and mobile devices
Install, update, and maintain software applications
Help in managing company assets and IT inventory records
Troubleshoot issues and outages under supervision
Assist in network monitoring and system backups
Support with documentation, manuals, and IT policies
Participate in IT projects including system upgrades, migrations, or rollouts

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and networks
Familiar with Microsoft Office tools, Windows OS, and basic troubleshooting
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Quick learner with the ability to work in a team and independently
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Preferred (Not Mandatory):

Knowledge of IT ticketing tools or helpdesk software
Familiarity with networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN)
Understanding of cybersecurity basics
