IT Security Analyst II (Vulnerability Management Operations)

Role Overview: At FIS, you will be responsible for identifying and assessing vulnerabilities, implementing effective countermeasures, monitoring new vulnerabilities, troubleshooting and validating scanner findings, tracking remediation efforts, performing regular patching and maintenance, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities: - Identify and assess vulnerabilities and collaborate across teams for effective countermeasures. - Monitor and respond to new vulnerabilities detected by scanners. - Triage, troubleshoot, and validate scanner findings, coordinating with internal teams for resolution. - Track and manage remediation efforts, perform regular patching, maintenance, and system/application upkeep. - Partner with compliance teams to meet regulatory and audit requirements. - Develop and report metrics to strengthen the Vulnerability Management Program. - Engage in rapid response activities to identify potential attack surfaces vulnerable to emerging threats. Qualifications Required: - 2+ years of experience in Vulnerability Management Operations using tools like Rapid7, Qualys, and ASV coordination. - Familiarity with open-source tools like Nuclei and Burp Suite for web application security testing. - Strong understanding of OS platforms, network devices, Python, Bash scripting, ServiceNow Vulnerability Response Module, SQL queries, and PCI DSS compliance. - Experience in enterprise-level InfoSec environments with multi-site setups. - Strong problem-solving abilities, cross-functional collaboration skills, and passion for security and innovation. - Shift readiness to work in a 24/5 rotational shift. - Certifications such as CPTS, CRTP, EJPT, or other relevant certifications are preferred.
