As a Technical Support Engineer at UnifyCX, you will play a crucial role in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to our software and the range of products and services we provide. Your responsibilities will include interacting with clients through various channels such as live chat, web-based systems, online forums, and telephone to address their problems, gather feedback, and ensure customer satisfaction. You will be involved in testing and analyzing all products and services, identifying any bugs or issues in the system, and supporting in their resolution. Your role will also require recording, tracking, and reporting problem activity, as well as building strategies to enhance efficiency, profitability, and service quality. It is essential for you to review existing product and feature documentation, publish documentation in internal knowledge bases, and adhere to the organization's information security policies and guidelines. Information security is a shared responsibility, and it is crucial for all employees to follow the organization's policies at all times. To succeed in this role, you should have 0-1 years of experience in customer service or a similar capacity, preferably in an IT environment. A graduate from any stream, with preference given to those with a background in Engineering or BSc (IT or Computers), would be an ideal fit. Strong customer interaction skills, exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, and a knack for problem-solving are key traits needed for this position. Being an avid internet user with a keen interest in technology, you should possess good working knowledge of computers and the internet, along with the ability to quickly learn new skills. Your attention to detail, project foresight, and willingness to work in rotational shifts will be highly valued in our team. Key Responsibilities: End-to-End Procurement Management: Own the entire demand-to-delivery process for an allocated set of Maersk Line vessels, ensuring the 4R Principle: Right Price, Right Place, Right Time, and Right Quantity for consumables. RFQ and Sourcing: Run the RFQ (Request for Quotation) process with non-contracted suppliers to ensure optimal deliveries. Optimize sourcing decisions by proposing alternatives in complex situations to solve vessel urgencies at the lowest cost and without excessive risk. Procure-to-Pay (PTP) & Invoice Management: Follow the Procure-to-Pay process for timely payments to all vendors and efficiently handle invoices with discrepancies. Stakeholder Management: Drive strong stakeholder management with technical organizations through daily interactions, addressing their concerns promptly. Actively support supply chain excellence and efficiencies with key internal stakeholders. IT Platform Proficiency: Be well-versed with IT platform system operation, demonstrating good knowledge to maximize output from offered tools. Utilize insights from processes to suggest improvements and ensure compliance. Category Strategy Contribution: Support and provide valuable inputs around assigned team initiatives related to Category Strategies. Digital Transformation: Actively drive and support the implementation of automation as part of Maersk's Digital Agenda. Representation & Feedback: Represent the team in key and strategic forums, providing constructive feedback to drive continuous improvement. Mentorship: Be responsible for training and mentoring junior staff on a day-to-day basis. Supplier Performance & Negotiation: Be involved in Supplier Performance Management tasks and Price Negotiations. Actively participate in running or supporting contract management for smaller agreements. Performance Analysis: Use data points to analyze and measure supplier and process performance, identifying opportunities for optimization. Understand relevant commercial terms in Frame Agreements to validate offers. Supplier Development: Challenge the status quo by developing and/g suggesting new suppliers based on delivery experience at respective ports to expand our global coverage. Market Feedback: In line with market dynamics (Supply/Demand), provide feedback on pricing with preferred suppliers to improve offers and collaborate with Category Managers for their involvement. Sustainability Focus: Always follow Maersk's carbon-neutral initiative to minimize carbon emissions in our supply chains. Who We Are Looking For: We are seeking an individual with strong interpersonal skills, capable of developing and influencing internal and external relationships. The ideal candidate will possess: Experience: 5-7 years of experience in the procurement domain. Supply Chain Acumen: A proven track record in planning and supply chain within an international matrix organization. Cost-Effective Mindset: A strong mindset with a natural focus on achieving the most cost-effective solutions for the business. Time Management: Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize effectively under ambitious timelines. Industry Knowledge (Advantage): Experience in the marine industry will be considered a significant advantage. Education: An educational background in relevant fields of Engineering and/or a Master's in Supply Chain or Operations Management. Furthermore, you will be: Self-Driven & Collaborative: A self-driven team player who understands the importance of stakeholder management, can build rapport at all levels even in challenging situations, and can encourage and influence others without direct authority. Entrepreneurial & Analytical: Possess an entrepreneurial mindset and strong analytical skills.
