IT Manager (Software & Hardware Expertise)

You will be responsible for overseeing the IT infrastructure of the company, encompassing both software and hardware operations. Your role will involve ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of systems, offering technical support to various departments, and implementing the best IT practices. It is essential that you are prepared to start promptly and are open to traveling to other office locations as necessary. Your primary responsibilities will include managing and upkeeping the overall IT infrastructure of the company, which includes hardware, software, and networks. This involves monitoring and addressing hardware issues such as desktops, laptops, printers, routers, and more. Additionally, you will oversee software installations, updates, and licensing, as well as implement and enforce data security protocols and backup strategies. You will also be required to provide technical support and training to internal teams, coordinate with external vendors for equipment purchases and servicing, ensure the smooth operation of email, cloud storage, and internal communication tools, maintain IT asset inventory and documentation, and assist in setting up IT systems for new employees. In the event of critical issues, you must ensure minimal downtime and provide immediate resolution. Furthermore, you should be prepared to travel to other offices or event locations when necessary. Preferred qualifications for this role include certifications such as CompTIA A+/Network+, MCSE, CCNA, or similar, as well as experience working in a multi-location or startup environment.
