Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain
desktop computers, laptops, printers, scanners
, and other hardware devices.
Provide
on-site technical support
to hospital staff, doctors, nurses, and administrative teams.
Troubleshoot and resolve
hardware, system, and basic network issues
(LAN, switches, routers).
Perform
OS installation, system upgrades, and software configuration
as required.
Maintain and support
UPS, power backup systems
, and ensure uninterrupted IT operations.
Manage and monitor
CCTV cameras, biometric attendance systems
, and access control devices.
Coordinate with vendors for
hardware procurement, AMC, and repairs
.
Maintain
IT asset inventory
, documentation, and backup records.
Ensure
minimum downtime
and quick resolution of IT-related issues in critical hospital areas.
Follow hospital IT policies and ensure
data security and system safety
.

Preferred candidate profile

15 years of experience in
IT hardware support
(hospital/healthcare experience preferred).
Strong knowledge of
computer hardware, peripherals, and troubleshooting
.
Basic understanding of
networking concepts (LAN, WAN, switches, routers)
.
Experience handling
printers, CCTV, biometric systems, and UPS
.
Good problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work in a
fast-paced hospital environment
.
Willing to work in
on-call support
, if required.
Relevant qualification:
Diploma / BCA / BSc / Hardware & Networking Certification
