IT Development Manager

Job Responsibilities:

• Act as the technical lead for SAP ABAP and SAP CPI development projects.

• Design, develop, and implement high-performance ABAP programs (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows, etc.).

• Develop and maintain integration flows (iFlows) using SAP CPI for cloud and on-premise applications.

• Translate complex business requirements into technical solutions within SAP environments.

• Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and mentoring for ABAP and CPI development teams.

• Collaborate with functional consultants, business analysts, and project managers to deliver integrated solutions.

• Troubleshoot and resolve system and integration issues.

• Ensure adherence to SAP development standards, guidelines, and best practices.

• Contribute to SAP system upgrades, migrations, and transformation projects (e.g., S/4HANA).

• Prepare technical design documents, unit test plans, and system documentation.

• Stay updated on the latest SAP technologies, tools, and industry best practices. J

Preferred candidate profile

Experience: Minimum experience of 3yrs of hands-on experience with SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration) and minimum 8+ years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience.

Strong expertise in:

• Reports (ALV, Classical)
• Enhancements (User Exits, BADI, BTE)
• Forms (SmartForms, Adobe Forms)
• IDOC, RFC, BAPIs, Web Services
• OData Services and SAP Gateway

FUNCTIONAL (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES)

• Must have S/4 HANA implementation as a Project Manager.
• Deep understanding of integration scenarios (SAP to SAP and SAP to non-SAP).
• Hands-on experience in configuring and building iFlows in SAP CPI.
• Proficiency in SOAP, REST APIs, and different data formats (XML, JSON, CSV).
• Familiarity with S/4HANA development techniques (CDS Views, AMDP, RAP).
• Good knowledge of middleware concepts and integration patterns.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Domain knowledge in any of SAP FICO, S&D, MM, PP/QM ,ABAP &BASIS Module.
