Job Description

As an AEM Developer at Medtronic, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and optimizing enterprise-grade web applications that enhance content management and digital asset management capabilities. You will work with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and related cloud technologies to create scalable, high-performance solutions for digital experiences. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and efficient AEM-based web applications. - Developing custom components, templates, workflows, and services within the AEM framework. - Integrating AEM with API endpoints and back-end services, implementing full stack solutions including JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and front-end frameworks. - Optimizing site structure, metadata, and content for search engine indexing and performance. - Collaborating with UI/UX designers, product owners, and other developers to translate business needs into functional applications. - Participating in code reviews, technical design discussions, and performance tuning efforts, developing automated unit and integration tests, and staying up to date with the latest trends in Content Management Systems, Search Technologies, and Java-based frameworks. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS). - AEM certification is required. - Strong experience with Content Management, Digital Asset Management, and Search functionalities. - Solid understanding of REST APIs, web services, and Adobe Cloud architecture. - Hands-on experience on integration of external API endpoints. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Docker, and containerized AEM environments. - Familiarity with front end technologies like HTML, CSS, JS/jQuery. - Experience in Full Stack Java development, including front-end (JavaScript, HTML, CSS). - Experience with AEM development tools and familiarity with CICD tools, Git, and modern software development practices. - Adobe AEM Developer certification preferred.
