IT AUDIT

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct 

  IT General Controls (ITGC)

   and 

  IT Application Controls (ITAC)

   reviews for financial and operational systems.
• Assess design and operating effectiveness of IT controls supporting business and financial reporting processes.
• Perform 

  SOX / internal controls testing

   in line with regulatory and audit requirements.
• Evaluate IT processes and identify gaps in security, governance, and compliance.
• Coordinate with financial auditors and internal audit teams to support integrated audits.
• Prepare audit documentation, working papers, and detailed reports summarizing findings and recommendations.
• Provide insights on IT risks, mitigation plans, and best practices in the 

  BFSI environment

• Assist in developing and enhancing IT risk and control frameworks.
• Support automation initiatives and use of data analytics in IT audit engagements.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in:
  

• ITGC (IT General Controls)

• ITAC (IT Application Controls)

• IT Risk & Compliance Audits

• Experience working in or auditing the 

  Banking / BFSI domain

  .
• Familiarity with 

  regulatory frameworks

   such as SOX, COBIT, ISO 27001, RBI, and other relevant standards.
• Strong understanding of key IT systems (Core Banking, ERP, etc.) and related control environments.
