About the job We are looking for a qualified IT Lead to join our growing IT team. You will lead the back office IT team and maintain computer systems and networks aiming for the highest functionality. Your goal is to build and maintain updated and efficient computer systems and networks to optimize the role of technology on business sustainability. Responsibilities & Tasks Desktop & application support Connect, set up and check Macs and PCs and peripherals for normal operation. Perform routine maintenance tasks, including installing basic software packages and setting common options. Perform basic Mac and PC hardware repairs and upgrades. Maintain Mac images for installing new systems. Detect, diagnose and resolve Mac and PC, peripheral and application errors. Advise on compatibility of hardware, applications and operating systems, according to user requirements. Server, printer and network support Set up hardware and perform basic checking of networked PCs and Macs as well as other network equipment. Perform routine maintenance tasks for user accounts; run basic network monitoring reports and utilities. Install and set basic configuration options for equipment such as switches and routers. Install software and updates on the file servers; maintain hardware and software of the server; set disk space and printer quotas; create network shares and manage access rights; monitor system logs as well as sync logs. Maintain and install printers where applicable. Configuration & Installation Update records of installed hardware and software; maintain a software library and store original copies of installed applications. Plan, record and implement changes to hardware and applications; collate and interpret results of testing and advise if goods are fit for use. Make sure all IT documentation is kept up to date. Support Request Management Investigate requests for support; record diagnostic information, retrieve details of similar requests and either resolve or escalate to the appropriate level. Respond to support requests according to FroQ procedures, recording detailed diagnostic information and using appropriate knowledge bases/logs to inform diagnosis and resolution. Determine whether an immediate solution is both required and possible; ensure steps are taken to find a permanent solution if not immediately possible. Interpret detailed diagnostic information; monitor and manage server logs and use them to inform developments and support procedures; produce reports from support logs to provide basic management information on the volume and nature of requests. Supplier/Vendor contact Make sure we have good and healthy contacts with solid suppliers. Investigate and propose new suppliers where needed. Contract negotiations. Price negotiations and comparison. Your profile You have a thorough knowledge of computer software and hardware and a variety of internet applications, networks and operating systems (both Windows and Mac). The ideal candidate will also have great troubleshooting abilities and attention to detail. Strong interpersonal skills to foster collaboration and uphold company values Job Requirement Roles & Responsibilities Operational Excellence Will be primarily responsible for managing the sub processes in the Corporate Accounting department included but not limited to invoice posting, purchase order creation, payments, vendor master data management. Reconciling vendor statements to minimize past due invoices. Communicate with US team members and local lead to resolve issues and maintain smooth flow of process Investigates and resolves problems associated with processing of invoices and purchase orders. Receives researches and resolves a variety of routine internal and external inquiries concerning account status. Liaise with operations team, vendor management team and vendor to resolve any exception, as and when required. Performs other duties as required to support Accounts Payable Department. Establish proper records, approvals, documentation and audit trails for all transactions. Facilitate the internal audit/SOX cycles by providing information and support Stakeholder Management 1. Support various business unit leaders with financial information reports and requests on a priority basis 2. Engage key stakeholders and internal customers to ensure expectations are clearly defined and are being met in accordance with organization requirements Governance & Compliance 1. Support development and implementation of all accounting policies & procedures in compliance with company policy and applicable accounting standards 2.
