Position: IT Infrastructure Manager

ROLE SUMMARY

The IT Infrastructure Manager is responsible for leading and managing the complete IT infrastructure ecosystem, including data centers, cloud environments, networks, servers, storage, security, and IT operations. This role requires a seasoned leader with strong technical knowledge, project management capabilities, and the ability to drive operational excellence across global environments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES SUMMARY:

Strategic & Leadership Define and execute the IT infrastructure strategy aligned with business goals. Lead, mentor, and manage cross-functional IT teams. Implement IT governance, compliance, and cost-optimization strategies.

Infrastructure Management

Oversee data center operations, cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP), networks, servers, and storage systems. Ensure high availability, DR/BCP readiness, and performance optimization. Manage IT asset lifecycle, vendors, and technology upgrades.

Security & Compliance

Implement enterprise-wide IT security policies, firewalls, endpoint protection, and SIEM. Conduct risk assessments, audits, and ensure regulatory compliance (ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA, SOX).

Operations & Support

Establish ITIL-based service management frameworks. Monitor systems, resolve performance issues, and manage helpdesk operations. Ensure smooth end-user computing and collaboration environment.

Project & Stakeholder Management

Lead transformation, cloud migration, and modernization projects. Align IT initiatives with business needs, manage budgets, and oversee procurement.

CORE SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

Strong expertise in networking, virtualization, cloud, storage, and IT security. Proven hybrid cloud operations experience (Azure/AWS + On-prem). Strong leadership, vendor management, and technical decision-making skills. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving capability.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science, IT, or related field. 15+ years in IT infrastructure management with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Preferred: CCNP/CCIE, VCP, Azure/AWS Architect, ITIL Expert, CISSP/CISM.
