Job Summary
The
IT & Administration Officer
is responsible for managing the school's IT infrastructure and providing administrative support to ensure efficient day-to-day operations. This role covers technical support, system maintenance, administrative coordination, and helps facilitate communication between staff, students, and management.
Key Responsibilities
- IT Support & Infrastructure
Manage and maintain the school's IT systems, including networks, hardware, software, and security protocols.
Provide technical support to staff, students, and administration, resolving hardware/software issues promptly.Oversee installation, configuration, and upgrades of IT equipment and software.Ensure data backups, cybersecurity measures, and system updates are regularly performed.Liaise with external IT vendors and service providers.
Assist in daily administrative tasks such as filing, scheduling meetings, handling correspondence, and managing office supplies.
Support the coordination of school operations including managing visitor logs, facilities booking, and record keeping.Maintain databases related to staff, students, and school resources.Help organize school events, meetings, and activities as required.
- Communication & Coordination
Act as a liaison between the IT department, administration, teaching staff, and external providers.
Support internal communication tools and platforms, ensuring effective information flow.Assist in onboarding new staff and training users on IT systems and administrative procedures.
- Compliance & Documentation
Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and school policies.Maintain accurate and up-to-date IT and administrative documentation.Assist in preparing reports and presentations for school leadership.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.2+ years of experience in IT support and administrative roles, preferably in an educational environment.Strong technical knowledge of network administration, hardware, software, and cybersecurity basics.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and common school management software.Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.Strong communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.

Working Hours
Full-time, Monday to Saturday.May require occasional after-hours support during school events or IT emergencies.
