The ideal candidate for this position should be well-versed in the application of 2D AutoCAD tools. It is essential to have knowledge of AutoCAD blocks, attributes, and working with model space and layout space. Previous experience as an AutoCAD drafter, specifically in P&ID drafting, is required. An understanding of tagging philosophy, PID blocks, and instrument constructs for various standards is also necessary. In this role, you will be responsible for mentoring technical efforts within the team. Your duties will include ensuring technical excellence, quality, reviews, and consistency of methods. Timely delivery of analysis, design, and detailing with high quality is crucial. Knowledge or experience in process engineering drawing deliverables such as PFD, P&ID, and 2D Configuration GA drawings is preferred. Experience in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Process, and Water industries, as well as design knowledge of equipment layout and piping layout, is an added advantage. The candidate should hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering and have relevant experience in industries like Design, EPC, Oil and Gas, or Petrochemical. Promoting best practices internally and having a minimum of 6-10 years of experience in analysis, design, and detailing are essential. Familiarity with Pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks, piping systems, pipe supports, and steel & RC structures is required. Proficiency in preparing and reviewing detailed fabrication drawings, as well as interacting with vendors in oil & gas, Petrochemical, fertilizers, and power plants is necessary. Experience with tools/software such as AutoCAD, Plant 3D, and SolidWorks is expected. Design experience in P&ID, isometric drafting, and 3D plant modeling using Plant 3D or PDMS is highly beneficial. Desired skills for this position include having experience in an engineering role in the Oil and Gas or Petrochemical industry. Knowledge of as-built drafting using AutoCAD and familiarity with SPPID and piping design would be advantageous.,
