As a Project Coordinator (Mechanical Engineer) at Trouvay & Cauvin's back-end operations partner in India, Team Global Consultancy Services (TGCS) in Kochi, your primary responsibility is to support the Project Coordination Manager in executing and monitoring project orders. This entails efficient project planning and scheduling to meet deadlines, handling project documentation as per client requirements, and providing detailed project reports to keep clients informed about project progress and status. You will be the main point of contact for customers and suppliers during the post-order stage, leading the processing of orders in collaboration with Administrators and the Quality Control department. Your role involves ensuring the approval of documents and timely submission of final dossiers. Additionally, you will maintain files for allocated orders to ensure all necessary information is readily available and generate/provide reports according to contract, specifications, or internal requirements. To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline like mechanical engineering, possess 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, and demonstrate knowledge of Sales/Commerce/Trading principles. Familiarity with MTCs, certification and test reports, international standards (e.g., API, ASTM, EN), and Quality Management practices per ISO9001, ISO18001 & ISO45001 will be advantageous. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a drive to succeed are essential, along with interpersonal skills, a customer-service orientation, and excellent English communication skills both verbal and written. You must be willing to work in a flexible schedule if required by workload. This position is based in Kochi, India, and applicants should already be based in the region or willing to relocate.
