About the Role Islands of Loom is looking for a Business Associate (Founder’s Office) , a versatile and motivated individual eager to learn the ropes of building and scaling a startup. This is an entry level role, best suited for recent graduates or early professionals with strong analytical skills and a finance or commerce background. Think of it as your real life startup MBA : direct exposure, steep learning, and a chance to grow alongside the founder. What You’ll Do • Maintain trackers and reports (sales, inventory, expenses). • Assist in financial planning, budgeting, and simple business models. • Support day to day operations from vendor coordination to logistics follow ups. • Conduct research and prepare presentations for new ideas and opportunities. • Lead or participate in customer calls, vendor discussions, and partner meetings when required. • Work closely with the founder on strategic projects and decision making. What We’re Looking For • Graduate in finance, commerce, or economics (freshers welcome). • Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills. • Good communication and presentation skills; confident to take on customer calls. • Curiosity to learn, problem solve, and take ownership. • Ability to support the founder on strategic initiatives and special projects. • Eager to grow with the company and wear multiple hats.
