People-driven culture Position Overview Boeing India has an immediate opening for Senior Solution Architect PLM- 3DX to be a part of our core architecture team. You would be a member of a team of techno-functional leaders who are responsible for creating the technology strategy of current and future systems. We are looking for a technical leader and an effective communicator who will help us design, develop and deploy architectural solutions for PLM. It is an exciting time to be a Solution Architect on our team as we are defining what the future strategy of our PLM systems would be and this truly a once in a lifetime opportunity. You would be defining, publishing and presenting solutions to technology leaders and business executives of the enterprise spread across geographies. Position Responsibilities: The successful candidate will perform the following duties: Produce technical solutions for PLM based on Engineering and Business requirements using 3DExperience platform (Including Enovia, Enovia V5 LCA, DELMIA and CATIA) Act as the Solution Design Authority and prepare technical impact and risk assessments, trade Study documents, functional and technical architecture views. Provides solutions for integrating 3DX with other PLM systems and Legacy applications Provides Architecture for CAD & Non-CAD Data Migrations. Conducts platform validation, gap analysis for capabilities and produces Solution Architecture for configurations and customizations. Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing and other Solution Architects, Product Manager, and developers to deliver the solutions of highest quality for complex SOWs. Participate in all phases of the application development life cycle including research and design, development, testing, implementation and support Should be able to Lead Architectural and Technical discussions with large groups of people in solution design workshops Should be able to influence the Design Development Decisions, Coding and Deployment standards for PLM implementations Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience) A Bachelors degree or higher is required as a BASIC QUALIFICATION Strong Technical and functional knowledge of PLM domain with 3D Development Experience which includes Strong knowledge of Dassault Systems CAA development in V5 and 3DExperience. Excellent Technical Development and Implementation Experience in 3DExperience (16x and above) with Knowledge on ENOVIA V5/ DELMIA/ CATIA. Exposure to AWS and cloud environment Develop Data Migration Scripts in TCL, JPO, and MQL. Develop functional and/or technical approach for data extraction, transformation and loading with strong understanding of engineering PLM scenarios Experience in Business Process Consulting, problem definition, Architecture/Design /Detailing of Processes. Strong functional and implementation knowledge on 3D Experience Modules and Dassault Tool chain covering Engineering Processes Manufacturing Process BOM Management Enterprise Change Management Program Management Product Configuration Supplier Source management etc. 3DX Native App Customization Experience with 3DX DevAppSuite (CAA)/ xPDM Adapter/ DELMIA Process planning & Factory Flow Simulation/ SIMULIA Process Composer/ ISIGHT & SIMULIA execution engine would be an added advantage. Knowledge of CATIA V5 and Enovia V5 Upgrade to 3DExperience. Domain knowledge preferably Aerospace, Aviation, Automotive, Manufacturing. Demonstrated solution and development experience on Service-oriented Architecture (SOA) integrations with PLM. Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience) Preferred to have AWS certified. Applying Scaled Agile framework for program / project lifecycle methodology Develop and maintain relationships / partnerships with customers, team members, peers, and partners to develop collaborative plans and complete projects. Demonstrate strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Be fluent in written and spoken English and have high degree of proficiency with MS Office tools to prepare comprehensive reports, presentations, proposals, and Statements of Work. BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE: The successful candidate for this Senior Associate Engineer position must have a Post Graduate degree from a reputed institution, in an accredited Engineering curriculum (Mechanical/Design/Automobile/Aerospace) plus 4+ years of structural simulation experience related to product development/validation. He/she will be part of the Core Engines Structural Simulation team (CESCOE) which performs virtual validation related to structural durability of Caterpillar engines. Incumbents must have demonstrated technical/analysis competency related to Structural durability of Mechanical Systems/powertrain components, fatigue life predictions using robust simulation models. Good understanding of Fatigue assessment techniques (LCF/HCF). Sound knowledge and experience in performing Thermal/Structural Fatigue analysis. Experience in using FEA tools like Abaqus/Ansys/FE-Safe/Optistruct/Tosca/Isight etc for solving complex non-linear FEA, Multiphysics simulations related to structural durability. Engine and Powertrain system functional/design knowledge of engine cylinder Head / Block / Liner / piston / Valve train / Connecting rod / crankshaft / flywheel and other engine mounted structures. Experience as an individual contributor in performing complex validation projects/programs. Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience Bachelors degree in Mechanical/Civil/Aerospace engineering or related field. Required minimum years of professional experience in an engineering software environment: BS+0. Demonstrated use of relevant Ansys software or knowledge of other commercial CAE, CAD, EDA, PLM software packages. Logical problem-solving, strong interpersonal and communication skills, fluent in writing and speaking English. Strong organizational and time management skills, possesses a sense of urgency. Preferred Qualifications and Skills Preferred education and years of professional experience in an engineering software environment: MS+0. Experience with Process Integration and Design Optimization platforms, and software packages like optiSLang, iSight, modeFrontier, etc. Proficiency in Python scripting and knowledge of the basics of machine learning would be a plus. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as with others in a diverse team environment. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and to communicate effectively.
