I&S Hardware Engineer

We are seeking a Hardware Engineer for a global medical tech solutions provider.

Part of the R&D team
Understanding of system level, hardware design & requirements of the system/productLead the investigation of production and field issues/failuresUnderstand the technical issues and drive the root cause analysis.Collaborate with engineering and production to provide solutions.Work on closures as per commitmentsOwn and execute mitigations for components obsolescence/supply chain issues:Provide timely solutions to prevent production stop situationsIdentify alternate components based on design requirements & component specification/datasheet comparisonsPerform evaluation & testing as needed for alternate qualificationsPerform necessary hands-on testing at circuit level / module level / product level to evaluate the hardware performance for identified HW design changes.Work on circuit simulations, schematics entry, BOM management and PCB layout reviews as needed.Responsible in design change implementations through ECOOwn documentation and co-ordinate reviews and approvals required to process the ECO.Own and implement new feature developments, compliance testing and country registrations for products in production.Responsible for planning, coordinating and implementing considering the timeline, capacities and cost impact etc.Work efficiently with cross functional and production teams to deliver the assigned task/project with quality within the timelines.Production testing Responsible in fixture and tools development needed for production
