Job Title: Structural Design Engineer Location: Thane / Kalyan Experience: 5+ years Industry: Civil Engineering / Construction Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Structural Design Engineer with expertise in designing high-rise RCC buildings. The ideal candidate will be responsible for structural analysis, design, and coordination with project teams to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective structural systems. Key Responsibilities: Perform structural analysis and design of high-rise RCC buildings in accordance with relevant codes (IS codes, ACI, Eurocodes, etc.). Prepare structural drawings, calculations, and reports for project approvals. Conduct load analysis, seismic analysis, and wind analysis to ensure structural stability. Work with ETABS, SAFE, STAAD.Pro, AutoCAD, and Revit for structural modeling and design. Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and contractors to ensure design feasibility and constructability. Ensure compliance with IS 456, IS 1893, IS 13920, IS 16700, and other relevant standards. Review and approve structural shop drawings and site queries. Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure design adherence and resolve construction challenges. Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers. Optimize structural systems for cost efficiency and sustainability. Qualifications & Skills: B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Civil/Structural Engineering from a reputed institute. 5+ years of experience in structural design of high-rise RCC buildings. Proficiency in ETABS, SAFE, STAAD.Pro, AutoCAD, and Revit. Strong knowledge of Indian Standards (IS codes), NBC, and other international design codes. Experience with foundation design, seismic analysis, and wind load design. Ability to handle multiple projects and work under tight deadlines. Strong communication and coordination skills.
