Quality Control • Perform inline and endline inspections on stitching, seams, trims, embellishments, prints, labels, and measurements against techpack and AQL standards. Record and tag defects; coordinate rework with sewing teams and verify corrected pieces. Maintain daily QC logs, defect matrices, and firstpass yield reports. Pressing / Ironing • Select correct temperature, steam, and pressure settings for each fabric (cotton, silk, wool, synthetics, blends, coated or embellished textiles). Shape collars, lapels, pleats, and creases; remove puckering, shine, and water spots. Operate irons, steam generators, vacuum tables, and form finishers safely and efficiently. Equipment & Safety • Clean/descale steam equipment, replace iron shoes, and report breakdowns. Follow PPE and heat/steam safety protocols; ensure compliance with electrical and ventilation standards.
