As a Security Analyst Functional L1 Engineer specializing in Anti-DDoS operations, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the seamless 24x7 shift operations for Managed Security Services. You will be tasked with analyzing DDoS attacks, implementing mitigation strategies, and promptly notifying customers about any incidents. Troubleshooting issues using established processes and methodologies will be a key part of your role, where you will be expected to drive them to resolution efficiently. Effective communication is vital in this role as you will be in regular contact with customers via phone, email, and web portal to address their concerns and ensure that all issues are resolved to their satisfaction. Managing tickets through an internal tool within the SLA timelines is crucial to maintaining service standards. Collaboration with technical teams across different domains will be necessary to handle cross-functional activities and address complex issues effectively. Your technical skills should include a strong understanding of TCP/IP, Subneting, Networking/Routing (BGP), ACL, Netflow, IPSEC/GRE tunnels, and a good knowledge of the Cyber Security Landscape, encompassing various DDoS attack types, vulnerabilities, and preventive measures. Familiarity with web application vulnerabilities/attacks (OWASP), Regex, IPS Signatures, and Python scripting will be advantageous. Hands-on experience with Anti-DDoS products like Arbor, Radware, Akamai, Cloudflare, Incapsula, F5, etc., is highly desirable. To qualify for this role, you should hold a B.E/B-Tech or equivalent full-time degree and possess 1-3 years of experience in Network Security/Cyber Security operations, preferably in Anti-DDoS operations. An active CCNA/CEH certification or any other relevant security certification will be required. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential to effectively interact with customers and internal teams.,
