Architecture & Design:Design, architect, and implement VMware virtualization solutions for on-premise data centers in line with banking industry requirements Lead the design and implementation of AWS and Azure cloud infrastructures, ensuring they meet the specific security and compliance needs of banking operations Architect and manage hybrid cloud environments that integrate on-premises and cloud systems while adhering to banking regulatory frameworks Ensure robust network security architectures, integrating firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and other network security solutions tailored for financial institutions Cloud & Network Operations:Oversee daily operations of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and on-premise VMware environments within the context of banking services Manage, monitor, and troubleshoot network infrastructure, ensuring compliance with banking regulations such as PCI DSS, SOX, and FFIEC guidelines Ensure the performance, availability, and capacity planning of all systems, optimizing for banking workloads and transaction processing systems Implement and manage DevOps pipelines to support continuous delivery and integration efforts for cloud-based banking applications Team Leadership & Management:Lead and mentor a team of engineers, ensuring strong alignment with banking operational goals and technical objectives Assign tasks and manage team performance in VMware, cloud, network, and security operations, focusing on banking system reliability and uptime Provide technical leadership in resolving complex operational issues and outages, ensuring minimal downtime and regulatory compliance Security & Compliance:Develop and enforce network security strategies, ensuring compliance with banking security standards and Zero Trust architecture principles Conduct security audits and implement measures to safeguard sensitive financial data against vulnerabilities and breaches Ensure compliance with industry regulations including PCI DSS, GDPR, SOX, and other banking-related mandates Innovation & Optimization:Continuously improve systems to enhance reliability, scalability, and security within the framework of banking sector requirements Drive cost optimizations in cloud infrastructure through FinOps best practices, particularly within the constraints of banking budgets Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in cloud computing, networking, and security for the financial sector Required Qualifications:Experience:10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure with significant hands-on experience in VMware, AWS, Azure, and network security within the banking industry Proven experience in team management, leading operations in banking or financial services environments Deep understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc ) and network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls) in banking networks Strong experience in security architecture: firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, IAM, VPN, and network segmentation within the financial industry Technical Skills:Expertise in VMware vSphere, vCenter, and related virtualization technologies used in banking Deep knowledge of AWS and Azure cloud services (e g , EC2, S3, VPC, Azure VM, Azure Networking) and their financial services-specific offerings Proficiency in network administration (Cisco, Palo Alto, Juniper, or equivalent) and network troubleshooting in financial networks Strong command over cloud-native security tools and zero-trust architecture, with a focus on banking data protection Experience with automation tools and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar) Industry Experience:Banking industry experience is a must, with a deep understanding of banking operations, transaction systems, security, and compliance Hands-on experience in dealing with banking-specific regulations such as PCI DSS, SOX, GDPR, FFIEC, and NIST

The Consultant, Core Cyber Operations - SOC job enhances our security operations by supporting organization-wide cybersecurity threat detection and response processes. The ideal candidate will have a background in incident response, cybersecurity, security operations, and/or networking. This job is part of the team responsible for identifying, analyzing, and mitigating cyber threats, ensuring a robust security posture, and facilitating compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. With limited supervision, this job supports the following functions. Key Accountabilities SECURITY MONITORING: Continuously monitor security alerts and events using SIEM tools to identify potential threats. Analyze logs and network traffic to detect anomalies and suspicious activities. INCIDENT RESPONSE: Assist in the initial triage and investigation of security incidents. Follow established protocols to escalate incidents to senior analysts and document findings.
