Process the requisitions received from Medical & Non-Medical store, within the shortest possible time.
Make provisions for record of quantities as per the ideal inventory levels to be maintained.
Identify suppliers and discuss with the related In-charge about the rates quoted by the vendors.
Prepare the orders on system and ensure timely validation by authorized signatories.
Place the order with the respective suppliers and conduct periodic follow-ups for fast delivery of the items.
Maintain a proper record of all the purchase orders prepared and rate negotiations done
Follow up on supplier payments with accounts department if there are any delays and ensure unhindered supply.
Take active interest in reduction of procurement cost by rates negotiation, vendor substitution, brand substitution, having shorter channels of supplies.
Take accountability for returning and exchange of non-moving and expired goods.
To work closely with In-charge stores to prepare various reports and MIS as required by management from time to time like monthly saving report, price index etc.
