As a Quality Engineer at IRP Systems, you will play a crucial role in the development of high-performance e-powertrain systems that are set to revolutionize the electric vehicles market. Your responsibilities will include: - Building, managing, monitoring, and implementing Suppliers" quality plans and assessing their quality performance. - Conducting visits and audits at suppliers" sites to address questionnaires, FAI, and any managerial concerns. - Executing Supplier quality procedures, CAPA, SCAR & 8D, and preparing quality reports. - Leading the EMS quality activities to ensure compliance with IRP requirements. - Overseeing Local RMA activities. - Providing timely and constructive feedback. - Leading and monitoring EMS production processes to maintain high-quality standards. Skills and Qualifications: - Minimum 5 years of experience as an SQE manager in a Multidisciplinary industry. - Lead auditor ISO-9001 certification and AS-9100. - Proficiency in IATF-16949 Automotive standard. - Relevant bachelor's degree, BS/MS in QA, Engineering, or related fields. - Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes. - Background in problem-solving and leading KAIZEN events and DMAIC. - Experience in developing clear Work Instructions and Procedures. - CQE certification- GREEN/BLACK Belt- would be advantageous. - Familiarity with IPC-610, J STD -001, and other IPC standards related to PCB and PCBA. - Knowledge of SPC, process control, Cp/Cpk, GR&R, and DOE techniques. - Understanding of process validation and Automotive PPAP requirements. - Proficiency in analyzing YIELD and other KPIs. - Personal skills: self-motivated, strong analytical skills, ability to multitask, work under pressure, and a commitment to self-learning. - Proficient in English. What YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION In this position, you will get to: The Supplier Quality Engineer plays a pivotal role in ensuring defect-free incoming parts from suppliers and resolving supplier-related issues systematically. This position requires expertise in the manufacturing field of Electrical & Electronics components / Equipment. Lead the supplier approval process, assessing Manufacturing/Standards/Technology capabilities, and addressing Health, Safety, and Environmental risks (ROHS, REACH, WEEE). Support new product launches to ensure supplier quality aligns with required standards. Test and validate new development samples from suppliers for Electrical commodities (e.g., Wiring harness, Power Cords, Circuit Breakers, PCBAs, Outlets). Collaborate with Engineering teams to define process parameters, ensuring supplier process capability meets product and process requirements. Facilitate root cause analysis and corrective actions for supplier quality issues; validate SCAR (Supplier Corrective Action Request) and oversee implementations. Conduct on-site supplier visits for root cause analysis and verification of correction actions. Review supplier manufacturing processes, collaborating on process improvement and value enhancement opportunities. Supplier audits based on nVent audit plans. Promote customer-preferred techniques for continuous improvement (Lean, Kaizens, Six-Sigma, Poka-Yoke, Measurement System Analysis, PFMEA & CP). Deliver quality awareness training and support process improvement activities at the supplier. Manage and coordinate supplier Parts Per Million (PPM), supplier problem-solving, cost recovery, and supplier warranty indicators. Ensure incoming quality of assigned commodity parts received from suppliers and internal factories. Review internal components rejections and take appropriate actions. Impose Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) on suppliers for major issues by coordinating with Purchase and Finance departments. You Have Academic background in Diploma / Bachelor of Engineering (BE / B. Tech) in Electrical / Electronics /E&TC. Previous experience in or with 6 or more years work experience in manufacturing areas Supplier quality, IQC, Manufacturing Quality & NPD Quality (Mainly wire harness PCBA and Outlets). Skills Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA. 6 Sigma Green Belt as an added advantage Competent in driving improvement through problem-solving methodologies (8Ds, Kaizen, A3, Lean, 6 Sigma). Knowledge of ISO 9001-2015, IPC610 & IPC/WHMA-A-620 Training/Certification is an added advantage. As a Lab Electronics Technician, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of lab electrical equipment, assembly and testing of electronic components, and managing lab inventory. Your role will involve maintaining equipment calibration data, ensuring compliance with lab safety requirements, and assisting project teams in conducting tests on circuit board assemblies. You will be expected to possess knowledge of basic electronic components, wires, and their current carrying capacities. Your skills should include the ability to read and understand datasheets, wiring diagrams, and schematics, as well as proficiency in soldering and de-soldering electronic components. Experience in splicing, crimping of wires, and using hand tools and power equipment such as drills is essential. Effective communication skills in English, both oral and written, will be necessary for this role. Additionally, you should be skilled in soldering fine pitch SMT electronic components and hold certifications such as IPC610, IPC620, IPC7711/7721, and JSTD001. To qualify for this position, you should have a Diploma in Electronics or SSC (12th pass) with a vocational subject in Electronics or completion of an Electronics Technology certificate program (ITI). A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience is required. The ideal candidate will be self-driven, proactive, and capable of working in a globally distributed setting without supervision. You will be expected to participate in team meetings, lab assessments, fire audits, and follow up on action items. Maintaining a safe work environment, following 5S practices, and conducting ESD audits will also be part of your responsibilities.,
